Corrinne Eira Evans

The jewellery I create, in my studio in York, merges traditional silversmithing techniques with contemporary applied art ideas, resulting in unique one off innovative pieces, with style and function.

British gardens, hedgerows and Victorian botanical prints inspire the core of my work. I lovingly hand craft each item in aluminium with fresh vintage colours being applied. Hand made fine chain mail in gold, silver and titanium is created in the form of Collars and Scarves embracing the Victorian lace fashions of the era and the interchanging brooches.

With distinct floral silhouettes, of old English plants, Dandelion, Blackberry, Star flower and Holly to name just a few, the intrigue of their uses as past medicines and antidotes infuses the joy of my work with intrigue!

How could your British Victorian Botanical garden grow?!
