Emily is an award winning contemporary jeweller working predominantly with wood, laminate and silver. She makes colourful brooches, necklaces and earrings and each piece is made entirely by hand by Emily in her London studio.
Initial ideas are drawn in her sketchbook, then develop intuitively as she works with the materials, meaning no two pieces are the same. Emily likes each piece to be a development of the one before, so she focuses on making one of a kind pieces and small limited editions.
Inspiration comes from all sorts of things, from plants through to buildings.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
