Henrietta Fernandez

I design and make beautiful, understated, contemporary silver jewellery. Size ranges from tiny ear studs to bold necklaces and bangles.
I studied Jewellery at Middlesex Polytechnic and apprenticed with Wendy Ramshaw where I learnt invaluable skills.
Ideas for my work currently come from my love of 60’s graphic design, floral patterns and repeat pattern in textile design.
I’m meticulous about detail and finish and pieces I make are extremely precise. Everything is handmade and finished by me at my workbench.
I hand pierce one-offs and use small batch production techniques, like casting, for some elements of my work - all made originally from my own handmade masters.
Oxidised silver, 18 ct yellow gold, resins and beautiful stones accent my jewellery, adding depth and luxury.
I apply a fine-papered finished by hand giving my work an elegant satin finish.
I live and work in Lewes with my husband and Cocker Spaniel.
