Who are we? We are Sarah James & Katie Honnor and our online retail site & community helps you to sell, promote your work, and keep up to date with craft news and opportunities. We’ve had a great start since our launch in December 2010 and are new Makers are joining us for Spring 2012!
We want the very best of British & Irish craftspeople to sell on our site and we would like to invite you to apply. We welcome new applications for all of our categories.

Don't want to sell with us, but would like to promote your business on madebyhandonline?
Our National Makers Directory is open to any British Maker of Contemporary Craft. The Directory does not involve selling work with us (unless you are one of our selected Makers) but is a great way to promote your skills and your work and to help people to find you! Our aim is to make this a valuable, comprehensive resource for the industry, as well as for customers searching for specific Makers in their area.
Joining is easy. You can have a standard text-only listing for free, or a premium listing for just £25 for a year.
Standard:
- Up to 50 words description of the Maker’s work.
- The Maker’s address and telephone number (optional).
Premium:
- Up to 100 words description of the Maker’s work.
- The Maker’s address and telephone number (optional).
- A web address.
- A picture of the Maker’s work.
- The option to list forthcoming events where the work can be seen.
Simply email us your details and your image and we'll create a listing for you. It's as quick and simple as that!
