A hand embroidered and embellished artwork. Aura is part of a trio from the 'Mandala' collection. The piece is created in bright contrasting colours with embellishments hand crafted out of combinations of recycled and waste materials. Materials include recycled electric cables, foiled hair rollers and plastic tags.
The piece is finished with embroidery thread detail and backed on a turquoise fabric. The design is hand stretched onto board and hand stitched into place within the white painted frame. The frame is strung with D rings for easy hanging.
It measures approximately 31cm x 31cm x 5.5cm.
