This handmade concertina book has four papercut butterflies popping out of its pages.
The background is from a painting of mine. I also free machine stitch the covers to suggest the random flight of the butterfly.
As ever, I had a line of poetry running through my head as I designed this book -
"The butterfly, the cabbage-white (His honest idiocy of flight), Will never now, it is too late, Master the art of flying straight".
Each of these handmade papercut books has 7.5cm square covers.
