Growth is an original hand embroidered and embellished textile with inspirations from floral forms. Each embellishment has been created from a combination of recycled and unconventional materials including; painted metal washers, foiled hand cut sequins, textile offcuts and plastic waste beads.
The piece is finished with a variety of hand embroidery stitches in coloured and neon thread. The design is hand stretched and laced onto board and stitched onto acid free mount board.
The whole piece is finished in a light wooden frame and measures 40 cm x 37 cm x 3.5 cm (approx). The framed textile is strung with D rings for easy hanging in your home.
