A hand drawn, carved and hand printed limited edition linocut depicting a variety of fern fronds, encased within a heart shape.
This print is limited to an edition of 20. It has been printed in pale grey oil-based ink on Fabrano Rosaspina archival paper. The paper is a good heavy weight and specially made so that it will not age with time.
Ferns have always been some of my most favourite plants and their variety and shapes are a constant source of inspiration. In this print I wanted to create a sense of calm and stillness by omitting fine details and letting the outline shapes take precedence.
Dimensions: 23cm x 23cm, sold unframed. The print is signed dated and numbered, and arrives securely in a hard-backed envelope.
