Stunning glamorous pink hydrangea long drop earrings. Pink is such a positive colour.
Inspired by Summer flowers and happy times, these pink earrings are made with hydrangeas and have Argentum Hypoallergenic Silver ear wires and are made of 100% recycled Perspex to fight pollution.
My plant jewellery is created by collecting, drying and pressing the individual leaves and flowers. The recycled perspex is heated and the leaves are pressed into its surface. I then use them like a stencil to apply the colours. The leaves are peeled off to reveal the unique, colourful design. This is a method of dying and embossing plastic jewellery I developed myself. I call it 'Fossilised Plastic' due to the fine detail that's captured on the embossed surface - so they are similar to fossils.
These earrings measure 65mm x 12mm x 5mm deep and the total drop is 90mm.
