This colourful perspex cuff / bracelet is made using Hydrangea and Madder leaves. The floral, botanical design is employing the colours to create both a contemporary and a vintage feel.

I collect, dry and press the leaves, then heat the recycled acrylic and press the leaves into the surface. I then use them like a stencil to apply the colours and the leaves are peeled off to reveal the design. This is a method of dying and embossing plastic jewellery that I developed myself. I call it 'fossilised plastic' due to the fine details captured on the embossed surface.

I use 100% recycled acrylic and I choose quite ordinary plants and weeds to create my floral jewellery designs. I hope that the wearer will not only enjoy them as jewellery but also review their appreciation of the natural world.

This cuff measures 25mm wide. Available in 3 sizes: Small are 15-16cm with a 25mm gap, Medium are 16.5-18cm with a 28mm gap and the Large are 18.5-20cm with a 35mm gap.
